crossfire-client-sounds software package provides sound files for playing crossfire, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install crossfire-client-sounds
crossfire-client-sounds is installed in your system.
Make ensure the crossfire-client-sounds package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep crossfire-client-sounds *
You will get with crossfire-client-sounds package name, version, architecture and description in a table
